What are you or your business unintentionally advertising?

Crack can kill your business?

I recently went into town to pick up a pizza, but as I pulled up I saw this. Now you might think this doesn't happen very often, but you would be wrong. Many business owners and people for that matter do not think about what they or their business look like. Granted this is unintentional, but even the unintentional can affect  what people think and whether people will do business with you. The business owner most likely is unaware that this is occurring, unless a patron should happen to mention it. In this case  a simple solution would be to move signs down lower, or move the benches in a different direction.

When I go out to eat, I usually ask to use the restroom before ordering. If the bathroom looks as if it hasn't been cleaned in a while, I excuse myself and leave. On the other hand if the restroom looks clean, I can assume the kitchen is also clean. This can be applied to any business, or situation. Be observant, pay attention to how your employees look, is the parking lot clean, are the windows dirty or is your product covered in dust?

People can tell a lot about a person or a business by its appearance. When I walk down town I can tell you who is unemployed, what businesses are successful and which ones are getting ready to close their doors for good. I guess what I am really trying to say is first impressions count, regardless of whether it's your fault or not.

In closing, ask your self this one single question,

" Is money attracted to anything that looks like a homeless bum?"

Today's rules
  1. Always look your best when in public, you never know who's looking.
  2. You and your business are a reflection of how you do business.
  3. A business that looks good, will always do better than one that looks like a dump.

Affirmations and grounding for money

Grounding and affirmations

So first I would like you to try couple of things. And one of them may sound a little far-fetched but just go with me. Would you agree that wealthy people think differently than the rest of us and do things differently than the rest of us? If you can agree with that, then give these two things to try.
The first is grounding and if you Google grounding you may find a lot of different things but the one you're looking for is actually where you walk around barefoot. Now you may ask why would I want to walk around barefoot. The answer is very simple, and that is to ground yourself. You see your body is an electrical system and if you're constantly walking around in shoes than you're never grounded. Grounding has been shown to help people not only emotionally but physically. Your emotional state is directly linked to your wealth state, and so what we're trying to do is to change your frequency or emotional state, kind of like meditating. If you pay attention to the people in your circle of friends and family you will note that you are in the same income bracket, give or take. This is because your frequency is resonating at a certain wealth level and that attracts like-minded people. Now we are not trying to get rid of your friends but you have to understand, unless these people are helping you become more wealthy they are holding you back. So you need to step out of your comfort zone and one of the ways to start doing this is by grounding. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose except a few minutes of your time and a little bit less stress.
The second thing I want you to try is to read, right and say a positive affirmations every day for 21 days, and at the same time refrain from saying, doing, or listening to anything negative for that 21 days. That means no watching the news, no listening to your friends who are always negative, no watching any horror movies or anything else for that matter. Why 21 days, because it takes 21 days to break the habit or to change a frequency. We are trying to improve your life by eliminating the negative energy and any energy that is blocking you from success or wealth.

You have to understand that the reason people are wealthy is because they were willing to give up something in exchange for that wealth. The average person is where they are financially because they are not willing to sacrifice anything to become more wealthy. It could be something as little as going to school and sacrificing a little bit of your time with family and friends. So think about it, what are you willing to give up in order to become wealthy?

Synergy business model

Synergy

When it comes to making money synergy is commonly used among successful business people. You will find that the most successful business people do not rely on a single business, nor do they rely on a single source of income. If they are in retail they are most likely selling products that complement one another, or if they have more than one service, each of the services complement or help the other. Now I'm not recommending you start multiple businesses at this point, but what I am recommending is that you design whatever business you start to include synergy as part of your business model.
One of the best examples around his Amazon.com. This is a company built on synergy and one in which the majority of the business is based on. Each time Amazon has added a product they have always taken in consideration how the new product incorporates with existing products. Their warehousing and shipping were initially all designed around shipping books. Books were chosen in part because they can be shipped without packing. When Amazon added music to their catalog, there was very little transitioning or adjustment needed for their warehousing equipment.
Another prime example would be insurance. Many insurance companies started out selling life insurance policies and then later added auto and home. Some of these companies even expanded into investment banking and similar products.
The main idea is to keep synergy in mind no matter what you are doing with your business and not just with products or services. Synergy should also be kept in mind when you're designing the organization itself. Making sure that employees, departments and all other aspects of the business are not only working together but complementing and helping one another.
When you look at nature, you will see that this is the one thing that is incorporated into everything that nature has designed. It is a seamless and energy efficient way to do just about everything.
So the next time your manager, boss or corporate CEO asks you how can we improve our company, think about synergy first.

EBay use to be the place to go for auctions but over the years has moved more towards virtual stores. As a result what once was the best place to sell something has become more of a research tool than an actual auction site. People who look to auction an item off often find they are competing with sellers selling at a fixed price in a virtual store. Worse yet, Chinese manufacturers have begun using eBay to sell items direct, try competing with that. Now for somebody looking for items to retail, a lot of times I have found eBay to be cheaper than wholesalers. Unless the item is very unique you may be better off selling your item in the Classified ads. As of late I use eBay to find out what I should be selling an item for and then I go to craigslist to do the actual selling. The owners of eBay have forgotten who and what made them so great. The ooos and ahh's that always seem to catch people's attention are gone. The"did you hear what this sold for on eBay"or"did you hear what someone was selling on eBay?" Are no longer the gossip at water coolers. The corporate bigwigs got greedy and turned it into something that the users never wanted to see. It was an auction site and that's what made it great. You never knew what your next big sell was going to be or for how much,or how little you might pay for an item you just bid on. The CEOs forgot that the excitement of the auction itself is what made eBay great. EBay should be looking in the rearview mirror because sooner or later somebody is going to realize what eBay threw away. If eBay was smart they would start up a new website that was auctions only, or they can sit around and wait for a competitor to beat them to the punch.
