What are you or your business unintentionally advertising?

Crack can kill your business?

I recently went into town to pick up a pizza, but as I pulled up I saw this. Now you might think this doesn't happen very often, but you would be wrong. Many business owners and people for that matter do not think about what they or their business look like. Granted this is unintentional, but even the unintentional can affect  what people think and whether people will do business with you. The business owner most likely is unaware that this is occurring, unless a patron should happen to mention it. In this case  a simple solution would be to move signs down lower, or move the benches in a different direction.

When I go out to eat, I usually ask to use the restroom before ordering. If the bathroom looks as if it hasn't been cleaned in a while, I excuse myself and leave. On the other hand if the restroom looks clean, I can assume the kitchen is also clean. This can be applied to any business, or situation. Be observant, pay attention to how your employees look, is the parking lot clean, are the windows dirty or is your product covered in dust?

People can tell a lot about a person or a business by its appearance. When I walk down town I can tell you who is unemployed, what businesses are successful and which ones are getting ready to close their doors for good. I guess what I am really trying to say is first impressions count, regardless of whether it's your fault or not.

In closing, ask your self this one single question,

" Is money attracted to anything that looks like a homeless bum?"

Today's rules
  1. Always look your best when in public, you never know who's looking.
  2. You and your business are a reflection of how you do business.
  3. A business that looks good, will always do better than one that looks like a dump.

Manifesting dreams

Focus

So every entrepreneur knows that staying focused on your dreams is key to your success. So how you do that is up to you. Me personally I use whatever I can. Posters, focus boards and yes even stones engraved with inspiration. I use anything that can in-passion me and keep me on track. Dream boards are good for inspiring and helping me focus on what I'm doing and what I'm doing it for. Just remember to keep it to a single aspiration so you do not lose focus. If you try to accomplish too many different things at once, manifesting your dreams will take longer. I carry the stone above because it is a good constant reminder that you have to have something more to shoot for other than just money. Part of my business is being able to be creative and a dreamer and so the stone reminds me to dream and be creative. You have to have a passion and or a dream that you are living for and keeps the fire burning. Otherwise, what is the point in life, the point in living, if you do not have a passion to live for. Take the time to go to a dealership and sit in that motorhome you're dreaming about, or go to a realtor and walk through the house you dream of, and don't just imagine but live the dream in your mind. Imagine getting up in the morning in your brand-new house and making breakfast and enjoying the sun rise. Make it as real as possible and envision how you're going to get there. Don't envision the difficulties ahead, those will always be there along with any challenges that are part of life. Just envision that which inspires you and gives you passion. The idea is to build the fire within and give you the passion that you need to succeed. If you talk to any millionaire they will tell you, you must first envision the dream.

So spend the weekend dreaming and trying to make the dream as real as possible in your mind and soon you will find that it is no longer a dream.
