Focus Boards

What they are for and how to create one

A focus board is just as the name implies.

It is designed to focus your energies into one objective or goal.

    Now I have seen many so-called focus boards which are actually dream boards. Covered with pictures, wish lists and dreams of things people want. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the dream board but the two should not be confused with one another and they are definitely not interchangeable. 

    First off dream boards do not plan out how you're going to accomplish those dreams. They usually are chaotic covered with photos and the energy scattered in a half dozen different directions. A dream board should consist of a single topic, with affirmations and a description of what it is like having those things. The objective is to put you in that new car or that new house and to generate an energy frequency that will help the universe manifest what you want. 

    A focus board on the other hand may have only a single picture, a single goal or objective, with action plans as to how the objective is going to be obtained and how you're going to assist the universe in manifesting what it is you want. As you can see here a single large star in the center with the objective or goal written out. Then radiating out from the star in the center are the things that the goal or objective will produce and the actions that need to be taken written in each block or triangle. Other triangles indicate what is being brought into the goal or objective. Now understand that this can take any form or any shape that you wish but most importantly it must be a single objective or goal and all the other items are in the form of synergy items. Synergy are things that are related and or work with one another helping each other.

    A good example of synergy was Amazon.com when it started out selling books. They later added a synergy item music and DVDs. The reason this was a synergy item is because the boxes used to ship the books were similar in size and shape the product was also similar in size and shape and as a result very little new equipment had to be added.

    You should also keep in mind that the focus board can also help in showing weaknesses or things that may not be helping you to achieve your dream. The focus board is not a static unchanging board but one that can be changed and adjusted to meet your needs, working very similar to a business plan, but on a much more abbreviated and focused level. Always keep your center goal in mind when making any changes to the actions taken.

    Add daily, weekly, and ASAP to do list, to give more detail as to how you want to manifest your dream or goal. These lists in addition to the graphics will help keep you on track and away from distractions that may interfere your objective.

    When everything is said and done, keep it simple, keep it focused and use as much synergy as you can. This will keep you on the fast track to manifesting the things you want in life.
